About Your Lecturer, DR. WILLIAM J. NEIDINGER

Dr. William Neidinger is an historian and archaeologist
associated with the Texas Foundation for Archaeological
& Historical Research (
TFAHR).  He holds degrees from
Fordham University, University of Madrid, and Rice
University.  Over the past twenty-five years he has
directed and co-directed more than a dozen excavations
in the Middle East, the Balkans, and southern Europe.  
Dr. Neidinger has lectured on mythology, classical
culture, archaeology, medieval history, religion, art
history, and the Middle East at diverse universities,
colleges, educational institutions, churches and
synagogues in Texas since 1977.

Dr. Neidinger is currently conducting excavations in the
Republic of Macedonia, where he has helped organize an
archaeological field school, a joint venture of the Texas
Foundation for Archaeological & Historical Research and
the University of Cyril & Methodius, Skopje.
